Finished running all of the batches this morning. 1.2MB worth of them. Every fucking student registration. Now all LL courses can have students in them. Huzzah!

And now, a day filled with finishing class creation in the morning, and speaking to a bunch of Theology students for two hours this afternoon. Blah. And I mean that with all my heart.

If Kim Wilde were still singing today, she'd have sang, "I sit here alone, and I drink my chai" as the third line of her one hit.

I just know it.

In fact, if I ever gain a singing voice, I'm going to cover this song and change that line.

The song of the day, by the way, is "Kick in the Ass," Moxy Fruvous. It's my fucking anthem today.

So, I've got the combined stress of dealing with work, of falling behind, of being unable to work for four days when I normally have to work my butt off (and feeling, rightly, like I'm shirking my duties and failing miserably at my job), and of dealing with all the Dragoncon stuff, all of which already has me well past the point of cracking.

So, a poll:

[Poll #56703]

OKay, I've got time for one batch of answers before I deal with all the other shit again:

[livejournal.com profile] jennywrenn -- Umm, when we have time and money. :-)

[livejournal.com profile] edie22 -- I honestly don't know.

[livejournal.com profile] ilexx -- Fish.

[livejournal.com profile] evilari -- Sometimes. Not enough.

[livejournal.com profile] deza -- Easily said, not easily done.

[livejournal.com profile] adellyna -- 1. Because I hatehatehate large groups of people, which I'll be dealing with all weekeend, and 2. Because I'm a salaried employee, and just as I benefit from getting to have short hours in the summer time, I really am expected to put in as many online hours getting stuff done for back to school as needed, and I'll be completely shirking that part of my job.

Okay, three more, then I'm off to the presentation, for real:

[livejournal.com profile] alphafem -- Yes, please!

[livejournal.com profile] shadesong --That's like asking, "why breathe oxygen?" It's not a conscious thing. It just is.

[livejournal.com profile] bethynyc -- That's tough. Maybe corned beef. Or a Reuben (provided it's made with real corned beef). But I like a good Monte Cristo, too.

Well, two great ways to put me in a better mood:

One, kick ass in a presentation, to the tune of getting applause.

Two, come back from the presentation and find some nice cake from Elans.
