Zombie fun

So, 28 Days Later was a hell of a lot of fun. More plot holes than Pirates of the Caribbean, but also a lot scarier. And it's real terror, not just jump-shocks. Definitely well-done.

Got back way late, and didn't get to sleep until after 1 (second such night in a row). So I'm hella fucking tired. I'm not like the zombies in 28 Days Later, though. They're fast. I'm more like the zombie in the opening scene of the greatest zombie movie ever, just sorta shambling around until someone gets too close to me, at which point I grab them, strangle them, and eat them.

Um. But That Would Be Wrong.

Work beckons. So does catching up on my LJ friends page. We'll see who wins.

While many beloved series have found a new home on DVD and on viewers' shelves, a few holdouts such as Seinfeld and Northern Exposure remain -- but not for long. DVD releases are in the works for both series.

The article also mentions that The Critic is getting the DVD treatment.

That's three more series I'll need to buy (well, probably two, as I really only need about ten Seinfeld eps in my permanent collection).

Joss has announced that Mercedes McNab would be a recurring cast member this season. I always enjoyed her character (especially during season 5 of Buffy), although I also think she can be overused (which is why recurring is much better than regular). It'll be especially interesting to see her relationship with Spike this year.
