While many beloved series have found a new home on DVD and on viewers' shelves, a few holdouts such as Seinfeld and Northern Exposure remain -- but not for long. DVD releases are in the works for both series.

The article also mentions that The Critic is getting the DVD treatment.

That's three more series I'll need to buy (well, probably two, as I really only need about ten Seinfeld eps in my permanent collection).

Haha! I requested Northern Exposure on Amazon. It's about freaking time!

Now I'll be able to get rid of the 15 - 20 or so vhs tapes I have of the show that we taped when the Hallmark channel replayed the series. ;)

*Mmmm...John Corbett*

"The Critic" is cool, but when will we get "Dilbert" and "Duckman" on DVD?

With Nextflix I can now rent all of the above when the come out. Whoo Hoo!

I can't shell out 200 bucks to get all the Seinfelds.

Maybe the Critic. The movie parodys are awesome.

I want The Tracey Ullman Show. And other early Fox stuff like The New Adventures of Beans Baxter, 21 Jump Street, and Women in Prison. Okay, maybe not Women in Prison.

You forgot the best early Fox show of all...
