Sequels absolutely no one demanded

maneaterlad posted about it last night, I had absolutely no idea that they'd made a film called Dungeons & Dragons 2: Wrath of the Dragon God, featuring Bruce Payne and absolutely no one else from the first movie. What's more amazing is, following in the illustrious footsteps of Cube 2: Hypercube, it made its debut on the Sci-Fi Channel, which actually places it lower on the quality rung than direct-to-dvd.
Even more sadly, the Sci-Fi Channel is the launch point for Return of the Living Dead 4: Necropolis and Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave, neither of which are even announced as coming out on DVD or in movie theatres. Nothing like cut-for-tv zombies!
I swear. Wrath of the Dragon Gods? Rave to the Grave? Is there someone who thinks up suck-ass subtitles for bad sequels? I long for the days of Jack Frost 2: Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman and Leprechaun in the Hood.
(Oh, and for those wondering, I have not yet acquired Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood, as I'm afraid it'll fail to live up to the high standards that the first movie set.)
