Feeling the hate this morning
Jul. 20th, 2006 08:24 amSo, on waking up, I learned that the Mets had traded Keppinger for a Royals player named Ruben Gotay. Knowing nothing about him I figured I'd Google him, and hit upon this Wikipedia entry.
Needless to say, I've edited it to remove the last sentence. That racist claptrap came from IP 72.225.168.221 (no login, of course), which resolves to cpe-72-225-168-221.si.res.rr.com as a host name (in other words, some putz on his home broadband connection). No way to tell who the moron is, but it's an annoying way to start a Monday morning. I'll be keeping an eye on the entry to see if the asshole returns.
Oh, as far as the trade goes, I'm indifferent. Gotay doesn't look like anything special, but it's not like Kepp was contributing all that much.
