Friday the 13th!

Happy Friday the 13th, everybody!

A few holiday notes:

1. The End is here! By which I mean the final novel in the Series of Unfortunate Events. We'll own this one today, of course.

2. For those who want to see my reviews of the various Friday the 13th movies, go here. Many of them are on tv today, btw.

3. I read the F13 novel Hate-Kill-Repeat. last week on an airplane. It was pretty fun for that sort of thing.

4. Today is one of my two busiest days at work until I'm outta here. Appropriate that it's on this day, I suppose.

Two pieces of TV news.

I'm off to teach for the next couple of hours, but I had to post some good TV news, per laurel's always nifty TV Picks:

1. Jericho, a show that was an early lead in the "Brilliant but Cancelled" Dead Pool, has been picked up for a full season! Rock fucking on!

2. Medium will return in November! Of course, it'll air at 9PM on Wednesdays, which means that no one will watch it (unless Lost is in reruns), but at least it's back.
