Since following the Mets, four days out of five at least, is pretty much fruitless ("Santana and, oh fuck it, pray for rain" is not an ideal team slogan), I'm already at the point in the season where I just have to start appreciating the beauty and intricacies of the game as a whole, and the kind of thinking that it fosters.
