Yes, a win's a win. And there's no excuse for bumping an ump.

But Shane Victorino is a filthy cheater, and the umps blew it. That was their second badly-blown call of the night, too.

in the NFL a ref would lose a game check payment for a call like that. Does a similar system exist in MLB? It was so obvious that the runner deliberately made contact to get an interference call that the only one that doesn't know is the ump...next time a Mets player is in a rundown they should just tackle the infielder and see what happens. It seems obvious most Umps can't judge intent (pitcher goes out pissed off over giving up home run perhaps, hits batter, next inning opposing pitcher hits batter for retaliation, and THEY get tossed...)

That call was horseshit from a mile away. Then again, the Phils have been sucking like the old days, so why stop them.
