Yeah, it really was as good as promised. Which isn't to say it wasn't flawed on a number of levels (mostly in terms of subtext and political overtones), but it was damned fun.
I love that the film's earned snark, but really loving snark because people are still really enjoying it. Makes it even easier for me to forgive its flaws. At least the ones I've seen so far.
