Sarah Connor: Officially axed

So, after all the good weekend news -- Dollhouse, Scrubs, Castle, Better Off Ted, Chuck -- the bad news has hit. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been axed. It's not surprising, but it's still disappointing.

Also noted in that article: The Unusuals, a cop show that's much better than most of the other cop shows currently on the air, has gotten the axe.

Well, there's still a few episodes left. But yeah. Different kinds of quirkiness (this was more Hill Street Blues in style), but still worthwhile.

Of course, the shows that I actually watch. We love Reaper and Samantha Who. It makes me not want to start watching anything new when it comes on for fear of enjoying it and then it being canceled too soon.

Well, sure. But I'd rather have all three and get rid of Cold Case, NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, and whatever the crappy GA spinoff is called. Alas, all such decisions are out of my control.

I doubt the network jump is likely, but a comic wouldn't surprise me at all.

Then again, after Buffy, I'm not sure I'd want a jump to comics; it's possible for the medium to actively destroy the message, as has been the case there.

I'm mixed. I love the new interns (well, mainly Sunny and Denise, but the others show potential), but the finale was perfect.

The Unusuals was just awesome. Amber on my TV once a week is a joy. (not to mention Goldberg... that dude is cool. You know... he's been in his share of one season shows)

(I'm probably one of the few folks on your Flist that couldn't give two about Sarah Connor... I tried to get into it... did NOTHING for me... acting, attractiveness of the actors, plots... nope, didn't feel it)

I was ranting about this - I totally *LOVE* Terminator: tSCC, and the season finale was such a great set-up for another season (except for that really awkward not-a-sex-scene, which creeped me out completely). I completely fell off the Dollhouse bandwagon early on, but I hear it picked up and stopped sucking, so I'll be watching it online this summer.
