The remake, of course, looks beyond dreadful, with the potential to end up on future "worst movies ever" lists, and a shoo-in for a Razzie.

But I have to know: Is there a chance that Will Farrell's Marshall will meet Will Farrell's Federal Wildlife Marshal Willenholly?

Well, he had to be up to something after facing the CLIT...

I dunno, the audience I saw the preview with seemed to really enjoy it.

And I was also wondering if Marshall Willenholly would show up.

I'm grateful to the trailer for LotL, because it obviously has both the funny parts ("You spent $50 million of your money..." "Ha ha, that's adorable -- no, the taxpayers' money" and "Matt Lauer can eat it!"), thus saving me the trouble of ever having to watch the movie....

That was my take, too. (Kind of like "Looks to me like Monster Squad has one good joke, and that was it.")

Honestly? I was prepared to hate it... But the trailer at the theater made me want to see it.

It's not a Kroft Saturday morning show - but then again, I'm not a kid any more either.

I dread it. This was one of my favorite shows and I hate how the modern remakes of my beloved tv shows are treated as a joke. Campy ok but I hated what they did to the Brady Bunch and Starsky and Hutch

It's a shame that this film is most likely going to suck, because they do seem to have gotten the Sleestak right this time (unlike the 90's TV remake, where the Skeestak were just wrong wrong wrong).

I actually think a remake of Land of the Lost could've been pretty good, in spite of casting Will Farrell, just by not Farrellising the script and having someone reign him in a bit to keep him from playing Will-Farrell-as-Rick-Marshall instead of Rick Marshall.

I think Will Farrell can actually be funny, but there seems to be this tendency for any film he's in to be rewritten as a "Will Farrell Movie" and for him to then play some minor variation of the same hyper, over-the-top character he always plays.
