So, Joey Styles -- the man who made a career out of orgasmically shouting, "oh my god," every time Sabu blinked in ECW -- now works for the WWE. And, like everyone on the planet, he Twitters, under the sure-sounds-officially-sanctioned name WWEJoeyStyles. He's also one of those nutjobs who complains about our "marxist" president and believes that it's really important that his middle name is Hussein.

Jim Cornette, known as one of the best heel managers and commentators in wrestling history, is not impressed, and takes him to task for the first eleven minutes of his latest podcast. If you've ever heard Cornette cut a promo, you know how good he is. This is as good as anything he's done within (or just outside) a wrestling ring.

I love Cornette. I love Styles too. Styles used to do the old ECW website and he got promoted to run the WWE websites and do marketing stuff: which Styles had been doing after he left wresting. Styles is imfamous for saying, "The Clinton legacy, all he will be known for in 100 years, is a stained blue dress." I think Styles and McMahon need to turn off Rush and do some homework. Cause Cornette was dead on about pretty much everything.

Between this and his blog, I'm starting to really, really enjoy Jim Cornette these days.

Cornette was always a great manager...even blew out his knees for the show. I agree with his commentary on everything, but mostly so about McMahon. (His tirade on politics was incredibly savvy but nothing most of us already knew.) I have sooooooo many workers in our promotions that keep wanting do to things like wwe. It is a fight to do things right.

hah

your views intrigue me, I wish to subscribe to your newsletter....

Can he please go on the The Factor and yell with Bill O'Riley?

Or, can he get his own show and yell at Stephen Colbert for more exposure?
