yendi(Folks more comfortable deep in the command line will scoff at the fact that I needed this info; folks less comfortable won't understand why I'd care in the first place.)
1. If you're forced to use the command-line Mysql interface because all of your gui clients (CocoaMysql, Sequel Pro, and even Access on the crappy Windows box sitting in the unused cube) choke on the Query From Hell, remember that the command you'll need is "Tee," not "Spool."
2. If, after pulling the Query From Hell into Excel, you want to convert Unix datestamps into something that might actually be useful in the real world, then us the formula =uglyunixtimestamp/86400 + "1/1/1970.
