Readercon is this weekend. I'll be there! shadesong will be there (and doing programming for the first time)! Elayna won't be (Explo has a trip to NYC this weekend), but will be there in spirit! What about you?

Ha! That's where Readercon's policy of putting proper names (as opposed to Arisia's willingness to put whatever nickname you like) on the badges is useful. Other than the fact that badges on lanyards often get turned around, of course.

Excellent! Fat guys with hats accompanied by pink-haired ladies are reasonably uncommon, so I should be able to spot you. I'll be the short fat guy without a hat who needs a haircut.

:-( Totally understand about not affording it -- we had some very lucky timing that's allowing us to go. Alas, I won't be there on Thursday (although 'song will for the Goblin Fruit party).

This long dry spell of downturned business HAS to end soon.

Now, if we could only get a turbo-charge to the BLAKE'S 7 audio sales, most of our financial problems would be lessened, if not solved outright. But how the hell can we fight pirates who've stolen upwards of half a million dollars from us in illegal downloads?

Sorry, I'm just venting.

At some point, I hope to be able to just hang out with you folks. Someday.
