The pre-Thanksgiving deals are ramping up:

The Deal of the Day is Seasons 1-4 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for $44.95 total (62% off, and less than $12 a season).

The Video Game Deal of the Day is Personal Trainer: Walking for the Nintendo DS for $29.98 (40% off).

There's also a Video Game Deal in which you can get $20 off an $80 purchase, selecting from a bunch of recent PS3/Xbox360/Wii games. Seeing as the list includes stuff like Fallout 3, Little Big Planet, Lego Rock Band, and more, hitting $80 isn't hard here.

The PS3 version of Lego Batman is $14.49 ($5 off), and the Xbox 360 edition is $16.99. I've logged more Xbox 360 hours on this game than on anything in my collection.

And finally, there's a massive $14.99 TV sale, although I can't find a central page for it yet. But the items listed include most seasons of Gilmore Girls, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Gossip Girl, Moonlight, Seinfeld, and Smallville.

Also, I discovered quite by accident that they're having a nice deal on Let the Right One In. $9.99 (down from $26.98) for the DVD (http://www.amazon.com/Let-Right-One-Lina-Leandersson/dp/B001MYIXAC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1258479147&sr=1-1), $14.99 (down from $34.98) for the Blu-ray (http://www.amazon.com/Let-Right-Blu-ray-Lina-Leandersson/dp/B001MYIXAW/ref=ed_oe_blu).

Yeah, but that was back in March, or whenever. Magnet has long since fixed the subtitle problem. If you buy it new, it should be fine.

Actually, scratch that. If you buy the DVD in a brick-and-mortar and can see by the packaging that it's got the theatrical subtitles, you're good. Buying it online is still a bit of a crap-shoot, since there are still bad ones out there along with the corrected ones (and Magnet/Magnolia have been asshats and haven't offered to exchange the bad ones for the good ones). As yet, too, nobody has spotted a Blu-ray with the proper subtitles (there is, however, a region-free UK Blu-ray with the right subs). So, caveat emptor on that one. I ordered it, so I'll let you know which one I got.

As it happens, the one I ordered from Amazon has the corrected subtitles. Probably still a crapshoot, though.

Could be. They dropped the Blu-ray way down too, and like I said, I haven't seen any indication that any corrected Blus have been issued. Which sucks, because I can play Blu on the PS3, but the DVD'll look nice upconverted anyway.
