Lee Lofland writes up the story -- including video (thankfully without sound) of a police officer driving at over 90MPH (without lights or sirens) crashing into and killing two nineteen-year-olds. Just depressing as hell.

Note that you can read the article without watching the video (although the notes on how dashcams work is fascinating in its own right, as Lofland's blog exists primary as a site for mystery writers looking to understand actual criminal and police behavior). It's not so much graphic as it is shocking.

I found this story to be particularly disturbing, esp. in light of what happened to your daughter and a colleague's son earlier this year.
