So your best friend is Harry. His brother is Larry. But Larry wants you to be his best man? I mean, I'd get it if it were Harry's wedding, but why would Larry ask you to be a part of the wedding party?

All valid possibilities (as is the possibility that he wants to set you up with that bridesmaid, who's stacked, but apparently not smart enough to tell the difference between a wink and a blink), but dammit, Young MC (who, come to think of it, isn't exactly young anymore) needs to be more clear!

Perhaps the amount of ugly bridesmaid dress needed to cover such a spectacular rack has temporarily blinded her to the difference between a wink and a blink. And, honestly, how good of a hookup can you get during a recessional? Because at the actual reception she's going to be deluged by underaged (short) boys looking for a slow dance.

Larry has issues, man - asking for a best man five days from the wedding smacks of a certain amount of desperation, no?

Yeah, the sentence is woefully unclear, but Larry's presence in the song implies that he's somewhat important. Surely a rapper as talented as Young MC could have found a way around simply using a name for the sake of a rhyme.

Not for everyone, yep, but I roared repeatedly when I saw it. (No, I don't know why I'm a non-stoner who likes stoner comedies.) I'll add that when I saw it, I really needed to laugh, and laugh I did, thank goodness.

The first Harold and Kumar is a better film, though. (Wow, that's a relative statement. But it made me roar repeatedly, too.)

When Chuck Klosterman posed this question, I floated to myself the possibility that there was a great deal of tension beteween the bride and Larry and that the narrator was a compromise candidate. I agree, it is worthy of consideration.
