Sunday stuff

Our town now has 100% more fiddle_dragon than it did 24 hours ago! Shadesong, Elayna, and I, along with Zeyr (and neo_blackwolf, who is about a foot taller than he was in my mental picture of him from years past), and aristabulus, helped fiddle_dragon and her daughters move in. Although they traveled lightly as these things go, my right knee is still not happy about the stairs. On the plus side, I suspect I got my first decent workout in months. And there was yummy pizza from Stone Hearth afterwards.

Their house, by the way, is wonderful. And the assorted teens got along splendidly. The heat was, I've heard, turned on by the end of the day, which I suspect made everyone living in the house happy (as it was damned cold by the time we'd left).

We then headed home and watched SNL and the finale of Dollhouse. After 'song went to bed, I watched the finale of Season 4 of The Wire (and believe me, I need to write about this, as it may be the bleakest season of TV I've ever seen), and then I crashed hard.

Alas, now I'm exhausted. Today is definitely turning into a Monday.

The mental picture was probably accurate to the time. He's growing like a weed. :)

The math geek in me wants to point out that saying "our town now has 100% more fiddle_dragon than it did 24 hours ago" means that previously your town had 1 fiddle dragon and now in has 2, but the aspie in me isn't sure he knows you well enough (and vice versa) and can communicate this clearly enough to be sure you take this light-hearted jest in the spirit in which it was intended. (All of me, of course, is glad that fiddle_dragon and her girls are safely settled into their new home, and wishes to thank all of you who helped them.)
