On Amanda Palmer
Mar. 25th, 2010 07:26 pmOn the one hand, I completely agree with this. On the other, I find that, since Amanda Palmer -- like her more talented spiritual predecessor, Andrew Dice Clay -- thrives on being an asshole and getting negative attention, criticizing her is the same as giving her a pat on the head. The proper way to deal with Amanda is to ignore her. Which is pretty much what I'm planning on doing from this point forward.

Evelyn/Evelyn. I had fleeting and brief sympathy because I thought well, it's no fun to work forever on a project, only to discover that it's going to hurt people. But she was so dismissive, not taking even the briefest moment to ponder and consider what folks were telling her. And evidently she hasn't learned the lesson of thinking before you speak--ESPECIALLY on twitter.
Big disappointed sigh.
