I got home yesterday to find a padded envelope containing this. And this. Based on the return address (showing a marketing firm) it was obviously a contest win, but I have no idea what contest it was from. Still, it was a very nice surprise.
I do love it, although the software seems to be dubiously stable. Now that I also have an e-touch, Nook, Kindle, and iPad (all from work), it's the low reader in the pile.
It's the software on the Sony reader itself that I find unstable; I've had way too many hard crashes (especially after the battery runs down), and have often had books reset in the middle of reading (not fun, especially when reading in bed). I use Calibre, too, but that's on the desktop side, where things are basically fine.
