As for the holiday
Nov. 26th, 2010 08:30 am'song sums up nicely here (although I hate that particular piece of Terry Moore art, as the position of the heads only makes sense if everyone is kneeling, or, more likely, if Katchoo got pissed, decapitated everyone, and mounted the heads at odd angles). Food was wonderful, company equally so, and good times were had by all (or at least by me). And the Jets won against a crappy team (even with their "average" cornerback)! WIthout needing to make a last-minute comeback! Woohoo!
Alas, the remnants of the chocolate cream pie appear to be gone, so I won't be eating that for breakfast as I'd planned. And given the rain, a nice two-mile walk to Starbucks is out (so much for burning off calories). So I must scavenge something else from around here. Fortunately, there are leftovers aplenty.
Today's a nice relaxed gaming and craft day. No plans to hit any Black Friday sales, needless to say. Hope everyone's having a good day-after-Thanksgiving (if you live in the US), or a happy Friday/Saturday (depending on your time zone).
ETA: I found the chocolate cream pie! It's a Festivus miracle!
