You can't spell "corvid-felching jackasses" without the letters CVS.

You know, I have this funny feeling that there's a story behind that statement.

My friend Image (http://sethcohen.livejournal.com/profile?mode=full)Seth Cohen (http://sethcohen.livejournal.com/) is a pharmacist who used to work at a CVS branch. Once, when it came up in conversation that I knew where the CVS corporate headquarters in Rhode Island was (because that's where I'm from), he begged me to blow it up the next time I went back to visit my family. I didn't, but he eventually got a better gig elsewhere.

They just bought out a fairly well-loved western US chain, so it's pretty much them or Walgreens for drugstores here now. (Our pharmacy is associated with our favorite supermarket, yes a chain, but we LOVE them for their service.)

I've been quite surprised by all the various ways they've managed to screw up my prescriptions. I'd be impressed if I weren't so irritated. It's a pleasant surprise when I get the right prescription, the right number of pills, and it is billed correctly.

They give you 25 pills on a month supply of meds? They did that crap to me a lot. Which is why I don't use their service any more.
