Rewatching House
Feb. 17th, 2011 09:07 amMidway through season 3 of House (which I'm watching with Elayna), I'm amazed that the show managed to survive both the Vogler (Season 1) and Tritter (Season 3) storylines. They're two of the worst-written and poorly thought out storylines I've ever sat through, and they're also wastes of two great actors.
Season 2's big multi-episode storyline, featuring House's ex, Stacy, wasn't all that great, either (although it held together more believably than the other ones).
That's why I'm amazed that, once Season 4 hit and we started regularly having multi-episode story arcs, the show didn't suck. If you'd told me that David Shore had been replaced after season 3, I'd have believed it, based on the way arcs are handled.
