Asylum -- the high class production company known for releasing mockbusters whenever a blockbuster is released (taking advantage of the public domain status of titles like War of the Worlds, or simply running with titles like "Transmophers" or "Snakes on a Train" -- is releasing Almighty Thor this summer. It features Richard Grieco as Loki and Kevin Nash (of WWE and WCW fame) as Odin, as well as the Patricia Velásquez (Marta from Arrested Development) as Járnsaxa (an interesting choice, as I fully expected them to go with Sif). No, you haven't heard of the guy playing Thor.

I'm sure it will be SyFy's highest rated movie in a while.

Why does Odin have two eyes? That's just...wrong.

Well, if Marvel can give us a Loki who is Thor's brother, I guess Asylum can give us a two-eyed Odin.

Adopted brother. Not much different from being Odin's blood-brother, which I guess technically makes him Thor's blood-uncle. They've never tried to hide the fact that he's actually a Jotun, though, not one of the Aesir.
