Read the comments on every news outlet. It's a fake. Not only is it a fake, it's a certificate of live birth, not a birth certificate. And it doesn't look anything like MY birth certificate, which I keep in my desk drawer, just like Donald Trump.

About the only reason I can think of is that he's been happy to leave the birthers looking like idiots up to the point that someone who neither side of the media thinks of as an idiot started asking stupid questions about it.
