I'd planned to make a joke about planning to recreate the Borges story "Pierre Menard, Author of the Quixote" in the original Spanish, line-for-line, forgetting anything that happened after 1939 in the process.

And then two minutes with Google informed me that Hodgeman had already made that joke in his second book (which I haven't gotten around to getting yet).

Grr.
