Thinking about the upcoming DC relaunch, I just thought of the worse possible decision they could make, worse than erasing Oracle, worse than giving books to folks like Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld, worse even than Harley Quinn's new costume:

Wonder Woman. Written by Dave Sim and drawn by Jim Balent.

You just know that Dan Didio would love it, too.

Perversely, I now want to read that.

Preferably in-store, because I wouldn't spend any money on it.

Sims next project after Cerebus was a book about fashion models. That seems much weirder than him writing Wonder Woman. At least he has a background with the type of stories you could do with WW, like monsters and sword fighting and shit.

Er. I'm guessing you mean Sim's. 'Cause Sims + Balent could be..interesting...

What would THAT be? A bunch of huge breasted women watering their plants and feeding their cats?

I was thinking Chris Sims (who used to review Balent's Tarot comic regularly and mockingly). But Jim Balent Present's The Sims is horrifyingly fascinating as well...

Wasn't Balent's Catwoman written by Chuck Dixon, so therefore.. we kind of already seen this.. right? Not as bad, but sort of?
