Twitter question

yendiHoping for the collective brain trust to have some ideas here:
I'm working with some faculty who are looking at Twitter trends. I know a few of the cool tools (Klout, Trendistic, etc), but there are a couple of things that I can't find, either because I'm not looking in the right places, or because of the glut of tools that are out there:
1. A tool that creates a hashtag cloud (ideally), or a chart of hashtags for a single user or group of users. I know that Twemes used to do this, but they pulled the plug last week.
2. A follower comparison tool. I know there are some that allow user x to compare his or her followers to user Y, but is there a tool that can look at the follower lists of both user X and user Y and compare them for a third-party viewer (assuming the user keeps their lists public, of course)?
