I want my two thousand emails!

yendiStill no gmail, after 36 hours and counting. To say I'm disgusted with Google at this point is an understatement. And yes, I'm disgusted with myself for not having a backup plan, but I'm at least around to yell at myself.
The issue now isn't even getting a new email address; it's getting access to my old account so I can do damage control, set up forwarding, and get my contacts.
ETA: Now people are getting bounce messages. Someone needs to be hurt. Needless to say, take Google's assurance that mail is still getting delivered during a temporary error as a bald-faced lie.
In better news, we're watching Better Off Dead this morning. Amazing how many minor folks from this went on to do stuff -- even after Cusack, Stiers, and Armstrong, you've got folks like Dan Schneider, who now writes and produces any number of Disney shows, as RIcky, and Elizabeth Daily, a great voice actress who I'll always know as Buttercup on PPG, singing at the school dance. And horror director Rick Rosenthal even pops up for a blink (as the ski store owner).
