What the hell?

The Toronto Star has an "advice columnist" named Ellie (no last name listed; I'm assuming it's a pseudonym for whatever hack is lowest on the totem pole on a given day) who tells people that they shouldn't complain when their husband rapes them.

I'm absolutely flabbergasted that someone can get paid for this crap.

ETA: Okay, obviously others have called her on it.

And, a rarity - she admitted wrong and did her best to make amends. That alone puts her head and shoulders above a lot of folk.

Very true, although letting that original page stand uncorrected still horrifies me. But yeah, she admits having screwed up, which is a rarity.
