But do they use candied citron in the cannoli filling? This is my standard for a good quality cannoli. Rocco's (http://www.yelp.com/biz/pasticceria-rocco-new-york) does. LMK next time you're in NYC and I'll take you there.

I've actually been to Rocco's (I grew up in NYC), and yeah, they're amazing. I suspect the ones in San Jose aren't quite on that level, but I'd still be willing to try one, for science and all.

Well. Now I want a cannoli. And I have none. This thing sounds delicious. But if you want a donut and a cannoli why not just buy one of each? Then you can eat one while you are reading a book, and have the other later.

I think the point is to eat both at the exact same time. Another of their donuts apparently involves a Butterfinger.

Seriously? There's some great cannoli choices in Boston, and unlike many desserts, it's nicely portable for walking with coffee.
