In lieu of content, free iOS games!

Work's way to busy for a real post today, so a few recommendations for folks in need of (and with time for) a distraction:

1. Super Stickman Golf 2. GET THIS! It's loads of fun, aimed at people (like me) who are not golf fans, and is solidly replayable.

2. Monster Adventures. Haven't had a chance to play it yet, but it's gotten nifty reviews.

3. Hairy Tales. A ridiculously fun puzzle game built around guiding forest spirits around a path. A nice strategy game.

would Hairy Tales be better on iphone or ipad?

I only play on my iPad, so I'm not a good judge, alas. I do suspect it's the better platform -- some of the puzzles involve both timing and precision, so a larger screen would probably help.
