Two quick ones (and one bonus for Starbucks folks), since work's too busy for real posting, still.

1. Blood Roofs. This is an endless runner with a couple of nice twists, mainly in the form of getting to shoot, too. You're a pair of people (one running, carrying the other, who shoots) on rooftops, trying to avoid the alien creatures attacking the city. I find the tilt controls a tad wonky for me, but I tend not to like tilt controls in general.

2. Hack Run. This is a combo of text adventure and old-school hacking sim, but more fun than that description makes it sound (look for the full game; there's also Hack Run Free, but that's the version that's normally free; this one is the full commercial version).

2.5 Polymer. It's not free, but it's one of the games being given away on cards at Starbucks. It's last week's deal, so cards may be tough to come by (but there definitely were some at the Watertown Starbucks today). It's a fun logic and shape game aimed at puzzle fans (I actually snagged it when it was free about a year ago).

Starbucks usually puts their free apps and songs on their smartphone app, so one could probably download the game that way.

Weird. Different licensing agreements? Desire to promote the app as well as the in-store experience?

I don't go to Starbucks often enough to know, honestly.
