How to get me to not try your service
Feb. 23rd, 2014 01:13 pmSo I saw an ad telling me that Target has a streaming video service called Target Ticket, and signing up can net me ten free videos. I went to the site and saw that there's "no hidden fees," but that you must given them your credit card number, which is exactly what every scam online does, and B) that their FAQ contains a question asking, "Why did I get an email showing I was charged for my 10 free movies when I used the 10 Free Movies promotion?," but that you can't see the answer to without registering!
Um, no. Hell fucking no.
Triple hell fucking no, when you take Target's recent history of credit card insecurity into account.
(And that's not even taking into account the fact that there's no PS3 app for this service yet.)
