That's a pretty good version! Too bad Draiman is a screaming misogynist who uses his fans as a pet army of stalkers to go after women he doesn't like. I can't listen to Disturbed without remembering that, any more.
(OH HEY! He appears to have deleted his twitter account, which is a huge improvement over how he was using his twitter account. Maybe he's gotten a little less assholey.)
The vocals are excellent. The video is really good except the cartoon boat at the very end. I feel like they could have done a better job with that, given how well the rest of it flowed. Also, what theweaselking said and the question of how one can ethically separate art from artist.
I keep thinking about their Land Of Confusion (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YV4oYkIeGJc) cover and the things he said at the time, and how it took less than half a decade for Draiman to *completely* reverse himself politically.
Possibly of interest: The latest episode of the Interseciton podcast, in which Melissa Harris-Perry talks about being much more bothered by "good" art perpetrated by people who do horrible things (Cosby, R. Kelly) than by problematic works by people who seem okay (Drake).
(Noting that she's not being prescriptivist, just using it as her own guideline.)
