Which Enemy of the Christian Church Are You?
A(nother) Robert and Tim Creation
Although I'm technically an Agnostic (I don't believe any of the stories I've heard, but I don't rule out the possibility of science eventually discovering an Other of some sort that may exist beyond our ken, sorta like Carpenter's Prince of Darkness, but without Alice Cooper).

Atheists do not believe in such things as god(s), but if science were to discover that "other," they would change (as science changes). (though I doubt if science discovered a higher intelligence would they call it 'god.')

I do agree -- we wouldn't call it god. But I wouldn't be surprised if, by the time such a thing is discovered, we'd advanced to the point where we could recognize it as being comparable to that "god" that the ancient myths spoke about. Frankly, if we haven't advanced that far, I doubt we'll be capable of that sort of discovery in the first place.
