Well, Insomnia struck again last night. Was up until about 1. On the plus side, I'm now only about two years behind reading PVP, and I now know that I've been mispronouncing Patricia Wrede's name for years.

On the real plus side, the folks at flavia are demoing their new coffee machine today in the library lounge, and it's got a zillion choices and it's really nifty looking. And all drinks today are free. So at least I'll have all the caffeine I'll need.

Dude. Have you tried any herbal remedies for the insomnia? Lavender on the pillow sometimes helps, and I think Bach's Flower Remedies may do an insomnia cure. Failing that, there's an essential oil called Valerian Root Oil, which is supposed to be very effective.

*nods* Friend of mine, whose family bottle aromatherapy oils for a living, says that Valerian Root can knock her out in about four minutes. So it's not something that requires much preparation - except that the smell apparently isn't that pleasant.

(One phone call later)

According to my aromatherapy consultant ;), no, no grogginess - although as with anything herbal, ymmv.
