Chud.com is reporting that they're not only remaking Clash of the Titans (which was a flawless movie to begin with, and doesn't need remaking), and taking out all of the scenes with the Gods. Feh. I spit on this remake. More than I spit on most remakes, even.

Um...Is it possible to remake Clash of the Titans and take out all of the Gods yet have it make sense? Not that making sense is important in the grand scheme of things to Hollywood. but really. Why bother? It's got to be one of the most random movies to remake. Have they already remade all the less random movies?

And who will they get to play Andromeda? We don't have any Barbie dolls quite like Ursula Andres any more. She'll probably end up looking like a real girl. My mythology teacher in Rome was english, and her daughter went to the British School there and was in class with Ursula Andres's kid. Well, I thought it was cool anyways.

CotT is a classic! And how can it possibly be remade without the presence of the gods? It's all about the gods -- the plot pivots on the very actions of the gods. What, are they going to chain Andromeda to a rock for a hungry sea monster because her mom just felt like it now?
