Penaut Butter Jelly Time, part two

Forgot to mention, at Bruster's last night, I had the Peanut Butter and Jelly ice cream. Vanilla ice cream with huge glops of peanut butter, and strawberry jelly throughout it. It was fucking amazing.

Donna had the Gone Bananas -- banana ice cream with fudge and almonds. She was amazed at how much it tasted like real bananas. shadesong had
Chocolate Oreo.

And the night before, I had Cotton Candy Explosion. Cotton candy flavored ice-cream (bright pink) with pop rocks embedded in it.

We also ran in Alan and Carole and two of their friends there, and Alan had gotten the banana split. But since they were out of bananas, he got it for free. And the thing was the size of my head. Must have been a pint of ice cream in it.

Have I mentioned that I love this place?

Banana Split

I dropped by Brusters on my way home from the LARP this weekend. The Banana Split that I had was enormous also, and well worth the cost in calories. Gotta love having a Brusters just around the corner from my place.

You do know about their banana Thursdays, right? Bring your own banana, and they cut the price in half.

I'm not sure how I feel about having one so close by -- on the one hand, it's access to the best ice cream ever. On the other hand, it's not all that helpful when one is trying to lose weight.
