Vh1 Classic is so much cooler than VH1.

VH1 had an ad for "1 Hit Wonders" last night, their new show hosted by William Shatner (where they actually don't show the 1HW videos, just talk about them, from what I've seen). And a clip showed "Safety Dance," by Men Without Hats.

I then flipped over the VH1 Classic, and there was the video for "Pop Goes the World." And this was the second time in eight hours I'd come across the song, as they were playing it at Publix, too.

MWH were two-hit wonders, dammit!

One-hit -- they were just two variations of the same song (and the translated one sucked, anyway). :-)

First, hell yes -- a fun one with a baby, lots of bubbles, and a snowman on drums. It was the '80s, and cocaine ruled.

My friend grunion chose "The Safety Dance" as the "all friends dance" for his wedding. We thought that was hilarious.
