overwhelmed

I really can't take this anymore. shadesong mentioned this morning that this is like our Thursday, since we're off for Dragoncon this Friday. That would have felt great back when I was local support or a sales guy back at the computer store. But now it means I have to do all the Friday work by tomorrow, too. It's fucking overwhelming. I really, really, really resent Dragoncon for changing the dates to Labor Day weekend. I think this is officially my last Dragoncon, as I simply can't take this stress any more. The choice is leave this job, or stop doing D*C. It's not much of a choice.

This is about the third break I've had from work today. Not because anyone's riding me, but because there's that much to do. I can't let myself be distracted today. And I hate it. I need to breathe.

I'd love to go to Burning Man but the heat and the bright would just make me miserable all week. The night would be spent sleeping due to exhaustion from the heat and recovering from the headaches from the light. I'd love to but can't...

Anyway WesterCon is in the Puget Sound next year...
