I just put on the black shirt that I got for my birthday, one of the few pieces of clothing I owned that [livejournal.com profile] shadesong had mentioned making me look sexy (or sexier than normal, since she weirdly finds me attractive).

It was tight. Very tight. I looked obese and disgusting (which might, coincidentally, have something to do with being obese and disgusting). I've been eating like a pig for the last few weeks, and it really shows.

If you all do not see a post here by this time next week saying how I've started Weight Watchers, kick me in the ass. Hard.

And if anyone has any feelings on the At Home program vs. the Online program (I'm leaning towards the former), let me know. the meetings just aren't my cup of tea.

I went and downloaded it for the 15 days...we'll see if I can actually use it. I'd like to be down to 250 (a 25lb loss) by 1/1/03, which they say is manageable. It's also interesting to see what I've been eating like this.

I don't expect to ever be thin...I look too much like my bio-mom for that to happen. Most people look at me and would never believe that I'm so close to 300, but I can feel it. Under 250 would make me happy (and make my life insurance premium go down!), under 200 would make me ecstatic. I haven't been under 200 since I was 25, I don't think.

Swimming every morning has been helpful!

I currently weigh just a hair under 250 myself. I was up around 275ish right before my daughter was born. My pre-preg weight was 242. So I am slightly above that now. I DID get back down to pre-pregnancy weight pretty soon after she was born. But then I crept back up a little.

What is strange, is that I don't FEEL like I weigh as much as I do. And everyone around me (well, almost everyone), says I don't look anywhere near that heavy. Being about 5'10" helps quite a bit.

Anyway, my goal right now is 225 by my birthday, which is Feb 19th.
