Why sex can be dangerous

I've mentioned before that our cat, Max, has a habit of fucking pillows and stuffed animals. He may finally have learned his lesson. While I was watching Arli$$ earlier, he hopped on the bed and started making moves on shadesong's stuffed penguin, which was near the other side of the bed. After his usual foreplay (kneading the penguin with his paws), he attempted to mount it. And ended up falling right off the bed, with the penguin in his grasp.

When I crawled over to the side of the bed (this was the one-foot-wide space between bed and wall), he was just standing there, looking very confused. After a minute, he did the classic cat "I meant to do that" shrug, then went off to drown his sorrows in kibble. As far as I know, the penguin remains undefiled.

Yeah, 'song told me who your dad was (figuring I'd know him), and I told her that I not only knew your dad, but I knew your mom, and unless I was thinking of the wrong person, that I knew you too! Gotta love the small world of LJ thing.
