Why sex can be dangerous

yendiI've mentioned before that our cat, Max, has a habit of fucking pillows and stuffed animals. He may finally have learned his lesson. shadesong's stuffed penguin, which was near the other side of the bed. After his usual foreplay (kneading the penguin with his paws), he attempted to mount it. And ended up falling right off the bed, with the penguin in his grasp.
When I crawled over to the side of the bed (this was the one-foot-wide space between bed and wall), he was just standing there, looking very confused. After a minute, he did the classic cat "I meant to do that" shrug, then went off to drown his sorrows in kibble. As far as I know, the penguin remains undefiled.
