So, I placed the order for the At Home kit today. Would have done it this weekend, but the web page order form sucks, and I wanted to make sure that they split the payments up properly. So I called the order in today. The kit should arrive sometime this week. I've got no plans to pig out or anything today or tomorrow just because I'm starting a diet soon, either (made that mistake in the past). So yeah, I feel like I'm on track here.

Heather and my friends who started a few months ago have lost about 30-40 lbs total on it, We have lost almost 100 on it, and Heather's mom (who is really just staying with us, so she is 'on' it) has lost about 15-20.

And the great thing is that it's really just a decent accounting method of eating healthier and exercising. It's not like a diet (which I've been on before). I don't miss my old eating habits, and I don't feel like I'm 'missing out' at all.

Here's a secret if they have them by you:

Ice cream sandwiches by Skinny Cow -- only 2 points per sandwich, taste sooo good I'd eat em if they weren't only 2 points.

another:

Pretzel sticks & mustard. Mustard is free, pretzel sticks (minis) are about 24/point IIRC. Great for snacking and filling up corners.

May you have success!

As well, if you like spice, most spices & veggies are 'free' as well, so you could go a grilled vegg tomato-based curry soup that is almost 0 for points, yet tasty and filling and helps you get the fiber and liquid you need.

Anyway sorry for hogging the entry, It's just as a gourmand, I am excited to share the possibilities for tasty healthy food.

Oh! SUSHI. Nigiri sushi is .5pts each. 4 for 2 points. You can do a filling sushi lunch (with great protein & proper carb ratio) for about 6-8 pts. It's been my main source of protein and it feels like "cheating."
