Nifty things
Dec. 21st, 2002 07:31 pmAside from the aforementioned Tom Waits CD, other nifty items have arrived at my house in the last 24 hours, most notably a copy of Richard Matheson's new collection, Off Beat, signed and numbered (15/750), from Subterranean Press. Since I ordered it over a year ago, and Sub Press requires pre-payment, getting the books is always a nifty surprise. And a new Methson bok is always a good thing (this is a collection of stories that have never been reprinted, including a bunch that have never been printed anywhere; the letterbound edition, which I couldn't spring for as it was $200, has an additional story).
And when they came by last night,
bheansidhe and
vidicon arrived with CD-Rs from
10dimensions, with boots of three Tori shows in Atlanta, including the two most recent (which I'd attended), and her '94 show (which I missed). Nifty!
I'm also pretty sure I haven't gotten around to acknowledging the nifty cards received this week from
aerindipity and
dreamcowgirl, but if I did, acknowledging them again probably doesn't hurt!
