Solace, from Freeverse. First, Freeverse has never made a bad game (two of their games, Wingnuts and Airburst, rank as my favorite updates of '80s arcade games ever). Second, I love good turn-based strategy games. Third, it not only offers network-play, but it offers friggin' PBEM play! And fourth, any game that would compare itself to Axis and Allies is probably aiming pretty high.

Date: 2003-05-10 02:40 pm (UTC)I'm looking for another one, since I'm pretty sure I won't be playing EQ or SWG much. (I lost all my playmates on EQ and being a high-level rogue means I'm a specialist that simply cannot solo at ALL. SWG is in Beta and although I've got a copy and can play, it's just not the same playing alone and..... personal issues keeping me from wanting to get into it)
I love strategy and role-playing games best so if you hear of a good MMORPG please let me know.

Hmm...
