BookSlut Update

New Bookslut is up! I've got both my monthly column (Vampire Series that Don't Suck) and a review of Laurell K. Hamilton's Cerulean Sins in which I compare Laurell to Piers Anthony. Not favorably. And read the whole issue, not just my stuff. Jessa Crispin's Slut Lessons column, to start with, is hysterical.

Thanks! As for the site, it's a monthly, other than the blog, so you'd just have to remember to visit once a month. But the blog (highly recommended) is available as an RSS feed, and appears on LJ as [Bad username or site: http://www.livejournal.com/users/bookslut_feed @ livejournal.com].

I was a huge fan of the series for a while, but the last two have been real let-downs. If you didn't mind Narcissus in Chains, you'll probably be okay with this one.

Re Hamilton: Damn straight. Lunatic Cafe was even a decent mystery, but this recent stuff is unreadable.
