yendiMy Halloween costume for this year will be Mystique. Or possible The Thing (from the John Carpenter movie). If I can't find the materials, I suppose I can always be a Pod Person, or maybe my Evil Twin. Or I could rely on my old fallback, a serial killer.
I've also decided that I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year. And I'm not writing a genre book, even (although I won't rule out the possibility of the book going off in some odd direction).

It would help immensely for that one if you could talk your friends into disappearing for a while, and then coming back and displaying minor character flaws, saying things that other people say, or just not acting like themselves. While you hide.
Is there a backstory on the no costume belief, or just one of those boring ol' I just don't believe kinda disbeliefs? (in other words, explain? I am curious)
As some know, I love Halloween--I can lurch around being a red drippy zombie thing, and rather than being steered clear of, most people, after the initial shock, congratulate me on job well done. I've been stopped in public by strangers, just so they could take pictures.
