Weekend, etc.

Friday night. Thanks to the driving services of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ryokan, we headed out to albumlady's place, and all the kids went trick-or-treating. Elayna had a blast, shouting "Trick-or-treat for Unicef" extremely loudly at each door, and shouting to us how many houses didn't have change for a good cause (let's hear it for shame!).
Saturday. Pretty much the standard lay-about day. Other than taking Elayna to Karate (and to Chili's and the bookstore afterwards), I pretty much vegged the entire day. We did a little cleaning, and some sorting of the metric fuckload of clothes thatalbumlady provided for Elayna (as her middle child had outgrown 'em). Elayna absolutely loved all of the dresses! After Miss Kid was in bed, Shadesong, Mermaidblue, and I watched Resident Evil, which was surprisingly enjoyable, in a very cheesy sort of way. It was on Tivo, so I didn't get to see the version with commentary (which apparently includes both female leads, as well as the director). Might need to nab that DVD.
Sunday, we slept in, then took care of household stuff, cleaning up, basically relaxing (other than when I saw the score of the Jets game). Sunday gaming was Munchkin Fu, which I enjoy more each time I play it. Followed by coming home to watch the remainder of the Simpsons Halloween Special and the Mythbusters where they debunk the BS Darwin Awards story about the guy putting a rocket on his Chevy and crashing into a mountain.
And now, I'm at work. And fucking tired. Goddamn Mondays.
